About the Role:
Agilea Solutions is seeking a strategic Vice President of Talent for our Workerbee platform. Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer, this leadership role will develop and execute the overarching talent strategy that aligns with our business objectives and sales needs. The VP of Talent is ultimately accountable for the overall health and performance of our talent pool, creating a thriving ecosystem where top-tier talent is consistently engaged, available, and aligned with Workerbee's mission and client demands.
The VP of Talent is crucial in bridging the gap between traditional relationship-driven recruiting practices and modern, scalable strategies. They will own and drive communication strategies within our Talent community and influencer programs. By cultivating these relationships, the VP will enhance Workerbee's market presence and establish us as a leader in the talent marketplace.
Working in close partnership with the VP of Workerbee Ops, the VP of Talent will spearhead initiatives to modernize the candidate experience, leveraging technology to grow our talent pool and scale our operations while maintaining a human-centered approach. This role ensures that our talent remains aligned with our corporate strategies and consistently available to fulfill client needs.
What You'll Get to Do:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive talent strategy that aligns with Workerbee's business goals and sales objectives, ensuring a steady supply of high-quality talent across various specializations.
- Own and drive communication strategies within our Talent community and influencer programs to enhance Workerbee's market presence.
- Develop best-in-class recruiting practices at Workerbee, adapting them to the platform's unique needs and scaling them effectively.
- Lead the transformation of relationship-driven recruiting practices into scalable, tech-enabled processes that maintain a human touch.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to understand and meet client demands for talent across various specializations.
- Oversee the creation and management of ad hoc recruiting capabilities, ensuring speed and efficiency in talent acquisition for urgent client needs.
- Training of the Sales team to become self-sufficient in candidate searches, order creation, order management (ie. responding to new orders), and managing new intake requests
- Spearhead the Influencer program, leveraging key industry figures to enhance our brand presence, attract top-tier talent, and establish Workerbee as a leader in the talent marketplace.
- Foster a sense of belonging within the Workerbee community, promoting the benefits of gig work and the gig economy.
- Lead a team of talent operations professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Spearhead initiatives to modernize the candidate experience, working in partnership with the VP of Workerbee Ops and VP of Product to leverage technology effectively.
- Drive community-building efforts through innovative engagement activities, marketing materials, and educational content.
- Stay informed about industry trends and workforce management best practices, using insights to continuously refine talent strategy.
- Ensure that our talent pool remains consistently available and aligned with our corporate strategies to fulfill client needs.
What You'll Bring to the Role:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition and recruiting, with a strong track record in sales-oriented environments.
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful talent strategies that align with business objectives and drive growth.
- Extensive experience in relationship-driven recruiting, with a vision for scaling these practices using modern technology.
- Deep understanding of the gig economy, talent marketplaces, and evolving workforce trends.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams across multiple functions.
- Experience in building and managing community engagement initiatives or influencer programs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing C-level executives, clients, and potential talent.
- Track record of successful partnerships with Sales and other key stakeholders to drive business results.
- Extensive industry experience is essential, while advanced degrees such as a Master's in Human Resources or Business Administration, and certifications like SHRM-SCP or SPHR, are considered valuable additions to a candidate's qualifications.
