About the Role: 

The Director of Product will own day-to-day execution and delivery across Workerbee’s platform systems. This includes product areas like the order lifecycle, Specialist Passport, EOR/AOR integrations, mobile application development, skills vetting, and system-wide UX refinement.

You will work closely with the VP of Product to translate strategic initiatives into execution-ready plans and drive forward a hybrid team of in-house developers, contract engineers, and external design resources. You’ll serve as a hands-on product leader focused on operational clarity, cross-functional collaboration, and a high standard of product quality.

What You'll Get to Do: 

Product Delivery & Execution

• Lead planning and delivery across key platform systems: order management, integrations, mobile app experience, Specialist Passport, and skills vetting workflows.
• Break down strategic goals into execution-ready scopes, define sprint priorities, and manage delivery across internal and external contributors.
• Ensure feature delivery is aligned with design, engineering, and quality expectations.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Serve as the day-to-day product owner for developers and designers working on platform systems.
• Coordinate across design, QA, and engineering to ensure quality gates are upheld, and designs are implemented as intended.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure bugs, support requests, and roadmap items are appropriately prioritized and resolved.

Mobile & UX Oversight

• Oversee prioritization and refinement of features in the mobile application.
• Ensure mobile and web implementations stay visually and functionally aligned through close collaboration with front-end teams.

Platform Strategy & Systems Thinking

• Own and evolve system-level workflows and integrations with third-party platforms (e.g., EOR/AOR partners).
• Ensure architectural clarity and consistency across APIs, back-office tooling, and user-facing flows.
• Support long-term product scaling by establishing reusable patterns and scalable platform foundations.

What You'll Bring to the Role: 

• 6+ years of product management experience with at least 2+ in a lead or director-level role.
• Demonstrated success delivering platform features across web and mobile applications.
• Experience working with distributed teams, external vendors, and multi-stakeholder environments.
• Familiarity with API-driven products, technical scoping, and system-level architecture tradeoffs.
• Strong ability to translate abstract goals into actionable execution plans and quality releases.
• Experience with third-party integrations, product QA oversight, and managing support-driven escalations.
